Fluffy thyme mashed potatoes

1,5 kg potatoes 100 g butter 300 ml milk 6 sprigs fresh thyme pcs salt

Fantastic side dish for fish, meat or even steak 🙂

Clean and chop the peanuts, cover with water, add salt and cook on a low heat for 17 minutes or until soft. Drain.

Add the butter and let it melt under a lid for a while.
3.
Then mash the potatoes by hand.
4.
Gradually add the warm milk to the mash and mix with a whisk.
5.
When the mashed potatoes are ready, add the fresh thyme leaves and gently stir them into the mash with a spoon so that it retains its fluffiness.
6.
Serve as a side dish.
