We chose salmon and tuna for the fish fritters. You can also make them with cheaper fish, but be sure to remove the bones first. They are better made from thicker slabs, which are juicier.
1.
Tear two slices of bread into a cleaver. Clean the garlic, cut it into three parts and add it to the bread. Now chop everything up and make breadcrumbs out of it. Put it in a bowl.
2.
Cut the fish into larger cubes. Also put them in a chopper and chop them into small pieces.
3.
Add the salmon and tuna to the bread crumbs. Pour the lemon juice over them, season with salt and pepper. Add chopped parsley.
4.
Stir everything together to form a thick mixture. Using your hands, shape into small fritters.
5.
Place them on a tray and when they are ready, put them in the fridge for a while.
6.
Heat the oil in a frying pan. Put the fish fritters in and fry them until golden.
7.
Serve the cooked fish cakes with any vegetable salad and sour cream dressing.
