Recipe preparation steps
1 Whisk the egg yolks with the vanilla and crystalline sugar, whisking until almost white, thick and foamy. Mix with the beaten egg whites and add a handful of flour, starch flour and cocoa. 2 Pour the batter into a greased and floured cake tin and bake for about 35 minutes. Bake at 180 °C for 35 minutes. 3 Meanwhile, melt the dark chocolate in the cream. Stir in the softened butter until completely set and leave to cool overnight. 4 Cut the baked cake in half, drizzle with rum, brush with cream and brush the surface again.
