Dorayaki, one of the most famous snacks in Japan! delicious pancakes, which can also be made in a mini version, are very reminiscent of American pancakes, but prepared without added fat and stuffed like a sandwich.
Ingredients:
180 g water 240 g flour 150 g powdered sugar 2 eggs 3 g baking powder 20 g honey
Preparation:
To prepare the Dorayaki, first pour the flour into a bowl, then add the powdered sugar and baking powder.Add the eggs, and room temperature water.
Once you have added all the ingredients to the bowl, start beating with a whisk, first slowly, then vigorously until the mixture is lump-free and has a fluid consistency.
Heat the pancake pan, or a large non-stick pan, pour a little oil and spread it on the surface with a sheet of paper, then pour a ladleful of mixture for each dorayaki.
Depending on the amount of batter you use, you will get Dorayaki more or less large. Wait about 3 minutes and as soon as small bubbles appear on the surface you can flip them.
Continue cooking for 1 minute on the other side as well. Continue this until the entire pastry is finished.
Drink plain or serve topped with jam or spread.
