3. Work the risen dough again, divide it into two parts, make a loaf from each part and roll it into a round
4. Place a sheet of dough on the bottom of a buttered pie pan, 1 cm from the edge, spread the curd filling, cover with the second sheet and press the two together at the edges 5. Then pierce the cake with a fork to allow steam to escape, brush the surface with beaten egg, place in a preheated oven at 180 °C and bake for about 45 minutes, cut after cooling.
