Creole Fish Soup

You can cook this great tasting soup from carp, catfish, tench, but also cod or mackerel

1. Boil the fish for a while in slightly salted water with bay leaves
2. Drain the broth, remove the bones from the fish and set aside
3. Fry onion in oil, add chopped carrots, celery, potatoes, pour fish broth, add chilli, thyme, sage and cook until soft
4. When the potatoes and other ingredients are soft, add the boiled, peeled, sliced tomatoes and cooked fish meat and simmer the soup for 5 more minutes 5. Serve the finished soup alone or with savoury bread.
