This pastry is light, quick to make and perfectly complements the freshness of the fresh fruit.
1.
From cottage cheese, flour, a pinch of salt, a whole egg and egg yolk, make a loaf of whole wheat dough.
2.
Work the loaf on a floured board into a rough roll and cut into 20 equal parts.
3.
Press each part of the dough with the palm of your hand into a pancake, place a strawberry in the centre and work into a ball in your palms.
4.
Place the balls in boiling water (ideally for 2 times), and when they float to the surface boil them for another 3 to 4 minutes.
5.
Fry the breadcrumbs in a dry frying pan until golden brown, set aside and mix with the icing sugar (to taste).
6.
Sprinkle the cooked curd balls with the fried breadcrumbs and pour the melted butter over them.
7.
Good taste!
