Even Frank Sinatra knew that New York is worth a trip. Because the city that never sleeps is not exactly around the corner, however, and the wallet is almost always empty anyway, such a trip is easier said than done. For now, however, you can bring the Big Apple home in a slimmed-down form – and drink it straight from an apple. Well, cheers to that!
For this you need:
3 red Äpfel 200 g crushed ice 200 ml apple juice 5 cl vodka 5 cl Amaretto 5 cl Karamelllikör
So it goes:
1. Cut off the top of two Äpfeln and h hle them anschließend with a Löffel. Make sure that you do not break the outer walls, because you want to turn the apple into a drinking vessel. Cut a small hole in the top of the apple, big enough for a straw. The hole is best placed exactly where the stem will be. Repeat these steps for a total of two of the apples.
2. Now all you have to do is put the inside of the apples, the third diced apple and all the other ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. The result is a silky, icy mass, ähnlich a “Slush”- ice!
3. Fülle the cocktail in the Äpfel and schließen;e them with the made lid. Add a straw and you’re ready to go.
While drinking, you can continue to dream about the restless metropolis of the world and make a savings plan so that one day your New York trip will come true. If you don’t drink alcohol or want to make the cocktail in a kid-friendly version, replace the alcohol with apple juice, caramel syrup and maybe a pinch of cinnamon and sugar or cream. Finally, even the little ones will be thrilled with this fun package.
