At our house we eat cabbage soup with sour cream on Christmas Eve and also on New Year’s Eve, served with a sweet christmas cake.
1.
I never wash the cabbage, put it to boil in a large pot with water,add dried mushrooms, sausage, can be sausage, cook until soft.

Pick out the sausage. Stir the cream with the plain flour and slowly stir into the soup, bring the soup to the boil, stirring constantly.

Taste , season with salt if necessary.

Serve with a Christmas bun, preferably with raisins. Enjoy.
