Chicken with Couscous
Last Updated on
Remained chicken pieces mixed with couscous, chopped tomato and peas.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Pour the couscous and peas into a saucepan and cover with hot broth, let stand covered for about 5 minutes
2. Stir half of the chicken together with the chopped tomato, oil and lemon juice into the couscous, heat slightly on the fire (stove)
3. Season with salt and pepper, and when serving, place the remaining chicken pieces on top of the mixture.
Recommendation:
You can prepare the broth from bouillon cubes and water, classically from the bones, or use soup stock.
Note:
Kuskuskus – It is made from semolina, a flour made from durum wheat, so it is actually a type of pasta. It’s pre-cooked, dried and then very easy to prepare. It’s a good idea to follow the instructions on the packaging. Some types of couscous just need to be put in a bowl of hot liquid, preferably stock, and left to soak. Other times, you need to simmer it for a while.
