Chicken on cabbage and hairy dumplings

The juice from the chicken is soaked into the cabbage, which tastes so amazing, together with the hairy dumplings and roast chicken, a traditional Czech menu is created.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Spread bacon on a baking dish or baking pan, cover the bottom with sauerkraut, add cumin, sugar and a little salt to taste
2. Put the sliced sausage on top of the sauerkraut and the halved or sliced onion
3. Salt the chicken quarters, rub them with rubbed garlic and paprika, put them in the baking dish and lay the sliced bacon around them
4. Cover and bake at 200 °C for about 40 minutes, then uncover and bake for about 30 more minutes to get a golden and crispy crust

Prepare the dumplings
1. Finely grate the peeled potatoes and squeeze out the excess water
2. Add the rest of the ingredients and make a medium stiff dough
3. Use a spoon to shape the dough into dumplings
4. Drop into boiling salted water and cook from boiling point for about 7-10 minutes, depending on the size of the dumplings.
