You can put not only broccoli, but also carrots, peas, herbs, etc. in this pastry.
1.
Mix the flour, baking powder and all the spices separately. Beat the eggs, milk and oil with a fork until frothy and pour into the flour. Mix with a fork.
2.
Add about 150 g of grated cheese, reserve the rest for sprinkling.
3.
Pour 2/3 of the dough into a rectangular mould. Divide the broccoli into individual florets, adjust the size to fit the mould, wash and dry the broccoli well. Push the individual rosettes into the dough.
4.
Cover with the rest of the dough and bake at 180°C for about 30 minutes.
5.
Then sprinkle with the rest of the cheese and bake for a further 10 minutes, when the cake has cooled a little, turn out onto a wire rack to cool.
6.
Cake can be served warm or cold.
7.
If it remains until the next day, toast it dry like toast.
