Cheap paprika chicken
Last Updated on
A cheaper version of the well-known recipe from Mrs. Marus
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Thaw the hen, clean, wash, drain and divide into individual portions
2. Cut the onion into cubes, let it brown
3. Fry the chicken portions on all sides until they change colour, add the ground paprika, immediately cover with water, add salt and simmer until the meat is tender
4. In the meantime, dissolve the plain flour in the milk
6. When cooked, pour in the milk and flour and cook for a while, finally acidify with lemon juice to taste.
Recommendation:
Serve with pasta or dumplings. To improve the taste, you can melt a piece of butter in the sauce at the end, or use sour cream instead of milk.
Note:
P.S by Mrs. Marus – This is a very cheap dish, because we buy chicken for a few crowns. Of course we can use chicken, pork rabbit but also veal.
