Celery meatballs (meatballs) recipe
Last Updated on
Ingredients
3 servings 1 onion 200 g of celery – coarsely grated salt 3 cloves of garlic approx. 2 – 1 pcs. eggs 5 tablespoons milk or water 2 teaspoons marjoram 1 – breadcrumbs , preferably freshly ground from older buns, on request, about oil or my slo, 400 g minced meat – mixed 1 teaspoon ground sweet paprika
Recipe preparation
1 Place the minced meat in a bowl, pour in the milk, beat in the egg, add the coarsely grated celery, the finely chopped onion, salt and pepper to taste. If desired, we can use marjoram instead of garlic, paprika… or your favourite spice mix (minced meat, curry…). Mix everything well, add breadcrumbs if necessary, stir well again and bake either meatballs or meat steaks with wet hands. 2 Fry the cutlets in the hot oil until golden brown on both sides. Bake the meatloaf on a greased baking tray in an oven preheated to 190 degrees until browned, about 50 to 60 minutes, basting occasionally with water and basting the meatloaf with the fat. 3 Serve with potato side dish or fresh bread, cucumber salad and mustard.
