From cauliflower you can prepare a variety of great and colorful autumn dishes. This rich main course, inspired by Indian cuisine, also tastes great. The butter combined with the spices make it beautifully fragrant and you are sure to love its taste.
1.
Split the cauliflower into smaller florets. Clean the potatoes and cut into medium sized cubes. Very small chunks would boil in your food.
2.
In a saucepan, melt the butter first and add all the spices to it. Roast it like this for a while to let all the flavours come through. Add the red onion cut into small pieces and roast it until it is glassy.
3.
Add the cauliflower to the pot. Put it progressively in batches to coat it well in the buttery base. Saute the Vegetable Recipes for a while and add the potatoes to it. Stir gently and leave under the lid for a minute.
4.
Wet all the ingredients with hot water. Add enough so that you can see it through the cauliflower, but not completely cover it. You need to boil the water completely to make the dish thick, not mushy.
5.
Simmer the cauliflower eintopf under a lid. When all the water has evaporated, set it aside. Only now add the peas to the pot and stir everything gently.
6.
You can also serve the Indian-style hot cauliflower with a dollop of sour cream.
