Calamari stuffed with cheese and grilled Vegetable Recipes

With the Born in the EU project and in cooperation with chef Petr Cvan, we will taste traditional dishes from different parts of Europe. With this recipe, we will take a look at a country located on the Iberian Peninsula – Portugal.

Ingredients:

Rule for 2 servings: 6-8 pcs of medium calamari 1 pc garlic cloves 1 pc garlic cloves zucchini 1 pcs capers 1 pcs capers 1 pcs of tomato 1 pcs spread Sao Miguel cheese (fresh cow’s cheese can be used) olive oil thyme pepper salt

Procedure:

Clean the calamari. Remove the guts and the transparent longitudinal skeleton. Separate the part behind the beak from the tentacles and then remove it. Remove the skin and fins from the calamari and wash thoroughly again

Cut the peeled cheese into small pieces to fit the calamari. Add salt and pepper. Sew the open part of the calamari with a toothpick so that the cheese doesn’t leak out during grilling

While the calamari has grilled until golden, drizzle with lemon juice and serve.
