Butter wreath with cranberries

2 dl lukewarm milk 20 g yeast 100 g soft butter 3 tbsp sugar 1 tsp salt 1 pk egg 125 g semi-coarse flour 120 g plain flour a little melted butter to rub the dough 2 packets vanilla sugar dried cranberries candied fruit 1 pk small egg to rub the wreath madder chips

Excellent , supple, tasty and also pleasing to the eye.

Put sifted flour in a bowl, make a well in it, put some milk and grind yeast in it. Beat the egg with a fork in a cup and add it to the bowl.

When the yeast has swollen, add the other ingredients for the dough and work until smooth. The dough should be rather stiff and allow to rise.

After the dough has risen, divide it in half. Roll each half into a rectangle, brush with butter, sprinkle with vanilla sugar and 1, dried cranberries and 2 candied fruit. Roll into a roll.

Twist the roulades into a braid and place in a greased round cake tin and leave in a warm place to rise.

When the wreath has risen, brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with crisps.

Preheat the oven to 200°C and turn the heat down to 180°C when you put the wreath in the oven. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
