4 pcs avocado 1 tbsp fresh lime juice 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes 1/3 cup red onion 1/2 pcs jalapeños 1/2 cup fresh cilantro 1/4 tsp salt 1 clove garlic ground black pepper

I’ve tried several guacamole recipes, and they usually differ only minimally. This recipe, however, got me. After all, guacamole is not supposed to look like mush, this is the right texture and flavor.

Prepare everything you need.

Slice the avocado in half, remove the pits and squeeze into a bowl.

Smash the avocado, but not into a mash or cream. The texture of good quality guacamole should be mosaic in the final. You can use a potato masher, for example.

Then add the lime juice.

Slice tomatoes, onion, grate garlic.

Add to avocado. Add chopped jalapeño or other hot peppers, cilantro (or parsley), salt and pepper. Stir. Taste and season to taste. Garnish with extra chopped grape tomatoes, cilantro and jalapeños. Enjoy your favorite tortilla chips!

Serve with tortilla chips.
