Yesterday, understand the day before writing this recipe, Linda drank all the “juice” out of our soup. Sometimes she doesn’t want chopped veggies for the world, and I didn’t have time to blend it for her for the porridge. She simply took a straw and drank the broth out of the pot. Linda is 29 months old, but she already knows what she wants. So I told her she would assist me in cooking. She helped pick up the skins and cleaned the trash off the ground with her own little whisk and shovel. It’s great to let the kids watch the kitchen activities. They learn a lot, come away feeling important and involved, plus they don’t get bored and have useful fun. I decided to mix the Vegetable Recipes from the soup into the buckwheat. I prepared this on chopped frozen spinach. The little one said during the preparation that she won’t eat this and at the end, when she took pictures with me, she ate it with her spoon and said that it was really yummy. Sometimes it’s really about patience and chance, what those kids like and when, isn’t it? .) TIP: if you don’t have leftover veggies from the soup like I do, cook the lentils separately in a pot and you can grate the carrots and kohlrabi into the buckwheat while you’re making it. You just stir the lentils in at the end. You can also use boiled egg, sweet potato, capia, zucchini, carrots of a different color…pumpkin or patizone.
1.
Fry onion, chopped shallots in oil. Add the buckwheat, which we drain from the water and wash. Add the crushed garlic and reheat.
2.
Add spinach, water and simmer until buckwheat is tender. At the end, add the Vegetable Recipes from the soup. If you have nothing left from the soup like I did, add the carrots and kohlrabi before the spinach, cut into small pieces.
3.
Finally, add the separately cooked red or yellow lentils, and then add the turmeric, reheat for 5minutes and remove from heat. Salt to taste. I believe it will be good.
