When we don’t know what to do with broccoli anymore
1. For the dressing we need cleaned garlic which we grate on a fine grater and add to the tartar sauce. Season with pepper and spices – dried marjoram. Stir – done. 2. Boil and mash the broccoli. Break a whole egg, salt, pepper and stir. Grate the cleaned potatoes on a grater as when making gnocchi (i.e. finely) and add two tablespoons of flour. Melt a larger slab of butter and pour over this mixture. Stir and add the breadcrumbs to bring the mixture together. The broccoli and potatoes are letting their juices/water out so the mixture shouldn’t be thick but if it is,add a little milk. It is simply a matter of making a mass from which to shape. 3. Place in the fridge for at least an hour. Soak your hands in cold water and shape into small balls. Roll in egg and breadcrumbs (but you don’t have to roll these in breadcrumbs). It is necessary to play with it a little. 4. The quickest way is to place the balls in a deep fryer and bake until golden brown.
