Chilli recipe using 1/4 lb of beef

Just in time for colder weather, this chilli recipe is perfect for a weeknight meal! It uses just 1/4 lb of beef, making it a leaner option. Plus, it’s packed with veggies and full of flavor. Serve it with some brown rice or quinoa and you’ve got a complete meal.
Ingredients:
-1/4 lb ground beef
-1 small onion, diced
-1 red pepper, diced
-1 green pepper, diced
-1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
-1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
-1 tsp chili powder
-1 tsp cumin
-1/2 tsp garlic powder
Instructions:
In a large pot or Dutch oven, over medium heat, cook the beef and onions until the beef is browned. Add the peppers, black beans, tomatoes, chili powder, cumin and garlic powder. Stir until everything is evenly mixed and heated through.
That’s it! Serve with some brown rice or quinoa and enjoy.
Tips:
If you want a little more heat, you can add some additional chili powder or even some diced jalapeños
