Breadcrumbs
In Strakonice, Strouhanec is called “potato bun”, in Krkonoše “bába”. It is actually a baked potato cake with fruit.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Grate the raw scraped potatoes, squeeze the water out of them and immediately pour milk over them so that they do not turn black
2. Add salt and sugar, flour and eggs and knead into a dough
3. Incorporate the peeled fruit, cut into small pieces, into the dough
4. Bake the breadcrumbs in a well-greased baking tray in an oven heated to about 190 °C until golden brown.
