Botwinka

Polish soup, which is prepared from young beetroot, as well as from beetroot sprouts and other ingredients. It is suitable for consumption during targeted detoxification of the organism.

Ingredients:

1.5 l bone broth 500 g beetroot 200 g sour cream 100 g spinach leaves 2 pcs potatoes 2 pcs boiled eggs 1 pcs carrots 1 pc parsley lemon juice pepper salt

Procedure:

  • Grate half of the beetroot (250 g) into noodles
  • .Heat the oil in a pot, add the grated beetroot, simmer for 5 minutes, then pour the stock over the beetroot, add the other half of the beetroot cut into cubes, salt and pepper, cook for 10 minutes
  • .Finally, add the diced carrots, potatoes, parsley and finely chopped spinach, cook until all the ingredients soften
  • Finish the soup with lemon juice, season with salt
  • Pour the soup into plates, add 1 tablespoon of sour cream, chopped egg and serve.
  • Recommendation:

    In the winter months we can replace the nasturtium with spinach.
