Bean soup with cabbage
ingredients
6 pcs potatoes 250 g colored beans 3 cloves garlic 1 cup sauerkraut 1 kg smoked bones 1 tbsp lard 1/2 KL vegeta a little allspice a little salt a little paprika a little plain flour a little pepper
procedure
1. Soak the beans the day before. Put the cabbage in a small saucepan, cover with water and cook until tender. Put the smoked bones in a larger pot, cover with water and cook on their own for an hour. Then add the beans and the water in which they have been soaking. Add the allspice, salt, paprika and whole garlic cloves. Cook until the beans are tender and the meat separates easily from the bone. 2. Remove the bones to a plate and scoop out the meat. Add the diced potatoes to the beans and cook until tender. Add the cooked cabbage and meat. Let the soup come to the boil. Make a roux from the lard and plain flour and a little paprika and stir it into the soup. Season with salt and pepper and add the veggies.
