3/4 cup mung beans 1 can white beans in tomato brine 1 pk onions 1 pk carrots 4 pk garlic cloves 2 pk potatoes 1 pk beetroot larger 1 cube vegetable broth butter or oil thyme fresh bay leaf salt
step
1. Soak the mung beans in cold water for 2-3 hours. 2. Clean the Vegetable Recipes and cut into cubes. Melt butter in a saucepan, saute onion, garlic, carrots. Add soaked and strained mung beans, chopped beets and bay leaves. Pour in the broth and cook until the beans are soft – 25 min. 3. Open the can of white beans and add them to the soup. 4. Simmer for a while. 5. In a mortar, grind black pepper, salt and thyme leaves. 6. Season the soup with this mixture. Serve with black bread.
