Baked toast with mushrooms

2 tbsp butter 1 pk onion 150 g fresh mushrooms 1 pk capers 2 tbsp ketchup a little salt a little ground black pepper 4 toasted bread 4 ham 4 hard cheese
procedure

Fry the finely chopped onion in half the butter, add the sliced mushrooms and fry briefly. Stir in the sliced capers, ketchup, salt and ground black pepper and simmer until tender.

Spread the bread slices with the remaining butter, season with a little salt and place a slice of ham on each. Pile the mushroom mixture on top and cover with a slice of cheese.

Bake the toast in a medium oven for about 5 min. until the cheese is melted and golden. Serve with chopped Vegetable Recipes or as an accompaniment to mild cream soups.
