For asparagus lovers, this dish is a classic.
1.
Prepare all the ingredients and a small baking dish.
2.
Clean the asparagus, preferably with a vegetable peeler…I do this by laying the asparagus on a cutting board and scraping the woody parts from the head to the bottom with the peeler, this way I’m sure the tender asparagus won’t break. Cut off the woody bottom and you can use it to make stock.
3.
Align the asparagus according to the size of the packing dish and place in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes, remove and drain, wrap each asparagus in a thin slice of bacon and intersperse with hard cheese, or place the cheese on top.
4.
Whisk the egg in the sour cream, season with salt and pepper, add the grated nutmeg and pour this mixture over the asparagus.
5.
Bake at 200°C for about 25 minutes, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake.
6.
Serve with boiled potatoes and a hard-boiled egg.
