Asparagus with butter breadcrumbs

2 kg asparagus 2 litres water 6 tbsp sugar 150 g breadcrumbs 250 g butter 1 tbsp salt
procedure
1. Peel the asparagus and cut off the woody ends. Tie the asparagus into portions with kitchen twine. Add the bundles to a narrower pot that will hold the asparagus upright and bring to a boil with the sugar and salt. Cook for approximately 10 minutes. Untie the cooked asparagus and divide it on plates. 2. Fry the breadcrumbs in a frying pan until golden brown. Pour it over the asparagus and pour the melted butter over it.
