The juicy apple cake will be to everyone’s taste. A light and fresh dessert that you can prepare any time of the year.
1.
Roll out both puff pastry sheets to the size of the baking sheet. Place one on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Set the other aside, it will go on top. Place the round biscuits on top of the pastry, one next to the other.
2.
Clean and grate the apples. Stir in the vanilla sugar. If the apples are more acidic, add more or granulated sugar. Divide the prepared apples in half and spread one evenly over the biscuits.
3.
Cook the golden cob, or vanilla pudding, in the milk and add the sugar. Boil a thick pudding. Carefully pour the cooked pudding over the apples. Smooth and put a second layer of apples on top of the pudding. Finally, place a second layer of puff pastry on top.
4.
Pierce with a fork and bake at 200°C for about 30 minutes. Once cooled, dust with icing sugar. Bon appetit.
