Quick, rewarding, delicious…
1.
Place the grated apples in a saucepan with 120g granulated sugar (I personally prefer my apples a little more acidic) and simmer for about 2-3 minutes. Add the cinnamon , chopped nuts and stir everything together. Let cool.
2.
Cook the pudding according to the instructions and leave to cool. I stir it now and then with a whisk and again with a hand mixer after it has cooled, so that there are no lumps.
3.
Break a whole egg in a bowl, add 120g granulated sugar, vanillin sugar and mix well with a whisk. Add flour with baking powder and margarine cut into smaller pieces. With your hands, work the dough into a meal. It is ready in one or two 🙂
4.
Prepare a mould with a diameter of 25-26cm. Put paper on the bottom and sprinkle half of the crumble on top. Use a spoon or your hands to pat it down a little. Spread the apple mixture evenly over this, top with the custard and then the remaining crumble.
5.
Place in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 35- 40 minutes until the surface is golden brown. Once cooled, sprinkle with icing sugar.
