800 g semi-coarse flour 250 g butter (hera) 2 pcs larger egg 250 g granulated sugar / brown sugar 1500 g g grated apples 150 g granulated sugar / brown sugar cinnamon ground to taste

This recipe has been baked in our family for generations. My great-grandmother used to make it, then my grandmother, then my mother, now I make it, and one day my children will surely make it too 🙂 . It is absolutely simple and amazing 🙂
1.
From flour, eggs, butter, sugar mix a firm dough. We can add one baking powder. Let the dough rest in the refrigerator for 30min.

Meanwhile, I make a filling with apples, sugar and cinnamon and let it cool.

I either divide the dough into small baking tins, add the filling or divide the dough in two, grease a baking tray and place one rolled out half on the bottom, pour the filling over the top and place the other rolled out half on top of the filling.
4.
I prick the dough with a fork before baking and bake at 180 degrees.
