I used to love going to my grandmother’s house in the village. As my grandmother was strict, we had to help out at her house during the holidays. A little bit with the animals and a little bit in the fields and garden. I was afraid of animals, so I preferred to go to the fruit. She picked plums, currants, raspberries and apples. My grandmother then baked us a cake, which always tasted the same. I could smell the aroma of it while it was baking. I also process apples from our garden and, in addition to traditional pies, I try to create something new. Today I baked some biscuits with apple chunks, for that homemade crunch. They are also good for a snack for the kids, or a treat with coffee or tea. #bakingsnaps
