Procedure:
1. Make a soft dough with the ingredients for the dough and refrigerate for about 30 min
2. In the meantime, clean the apples, cut in half and carefully cut out the cores, cut the top of the apples into strips but do not cut all the way to the bottom
3. Preheat the oven to 160 °C, grease a mould, preferably a round ceramic one, approx. 28-30 cm in diameter, with butter
4. Roll out the cooled dough into an approximate circle, transfer it to the mould and spread it (knead it) to the top edge
5. Place the sliced apples cut side down on the pastry and “coat” them with the filling you have prepared by whisking (by hand is fine) all the ingredients for the filling, except the apples
6. Place in a preheated oven and bake for about 60 minutes
7. Let the baked cake cool well, sprinkle with icing sugar and serve.
