Almond meal in a mug cup recipe

We all have those days where we crave something sweet but don’t want to make an entire cake or batch of cookies. This almond meal in a mug recipe is the perfect solution! It takes less than five minutes to make and only requires a few simple ingredients that you probably already have in your pantry.
The best part about this recipe is that it can be easily customized to your liking. Don’t like almonds? Swap them out for another type of nut or seeds. You can also add in some chocolate chips, dried fruit, or spices like cinnamon or nutmeg.
Here’s what you’ll need:
1/4 cup almond meal
1/4 cup milk of choice
1 tablespoon sugar or honey
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Optional: 1-2 tablespoons of mix-ins (chocolate chips, dried fruit, nuts, spices)
Instructions:
Combine all of the ingredients in a mug or cup.
Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
Microwave for 1-2 minutes, or until the mug cake is cooked through.
Enjoy as is, or top with additional mix-ins.
This mug cake is best enjoyed immediately after cooking. However, you can store any leftovers in the fridge for 1-2 days. Just pop it in the microwave for a few seconds to warm it up before enjoying
