A green Italian chipotle sauce recipe to be served over spaghetti

Hey everyone! In this blog post, I’ll be sharing a recipe for a delicious green Italian chipotle sauce. This sauce is perfect for serving over spaghetti, and is packed full of flavour. Here’s everything you’ll need to make it:
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 jalapeño pepper, diced
1 cup chicken broth
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 cup heavy cream
3 tablespoons chopped green onions
To make the sauce, simply heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion, garlic, and jalapeño pepper, and cook until the vegetables are soft. Stir in the chicken broth, tomatoes, basil, parsley, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Stir in the heavy cream and green onions, and cook for an additional 5 minutes
